The answer is quiet simple and that is yes. You can use noodles in this taco lasagna recipe instead of the tortillas you are using, corn or flour tortillas. The remaining recipe is same as before just take noodles instead of tortillas.

  • 2 pound ground beef , lean
  • 2 packages taco seasoning
  • 9 corn/ flour tortillas ( 8 inches)
  • 3 or 4 cup shredded cheese
  • 15 ounces refried beans
  • 15 ounces / 1 can rinsed & drained black beans
  • 1 cup green onion, sliced & chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes , diced
  • About a cup of water
  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper

Take a large pan / skillet, cook the ground beef , onion over medium heat flame until it gets light brown colour. Then add water & taco seasoning, cayenne pepper to a boil. Leave for 2 min uncovered, simmer. Then add black beans, tomatoes & simmer for about 8-10 min.

Take a 13 inch long & 9 inch wide baking dish & greased. Put half of the refried beans & half of the beef mix , spread about 1/2 to 1 cup cheese & again repeat the layer. Then do the same with rest of the tortillas.

Bake the tortillas in oven for 30 min on 175 degrees C or until all cheese melted.
