- 1/4 cup milk( warm not hot milk)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 2 cup plain flour/ all purpose flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup water ( at room temp)
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter ( at room temp)
- oil to grease
- 1/4 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 Cup Butter [melted]
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 or 4 cups powdered Sugar
- 3 tbsp cream or milk

First, Melt the butter in a medium bowl then add the vanilla extract and stir to mix it well. Now, add the powdered sugar and stir to form a thick paste.
Now, make the paste thin with milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture is thin
Take a small bowl,mix warm milk , sugar, dry yeast & stir them gently. Keep aside for about 12-15 min or until it gets foamy & rise double in volume.
Take another large bowl, combine all purpose flour , a pinch of salt & activated yeast. Stir them on low speed with adding water little at a time about 2-3 min. Now add baking powder, butter and egg yolks & stir gently. Knead the dough for 15-20 min.
Apply the butter to large bowl and put the dough into it after greasing the dough. Then cover the dough with clean towel and rest for 1-2 hours.
Roll down the dough to 1/2 inches thickness surface. Grease it with oil & take a 3 inch round cutter & cut as many rounds as possible. Take square parchment paper & place dough disk on paper. Repeat the process with leftover dough. Now cover them with towel & keep rest for about 1 hour.
Now heat the oil in large skillet. Put many dough disk into oil & fry them until they gets golden in colour on both sides. Now transfer the balls on clean cloth and drain out all oil & let it be cooled down.
Now, leave the donuts to cool down and place them in a plate. Put a cooling rack on top of your baking sheet. When the donuts are cool down & you can easily touch with fingers, dip them into the glaze with your fingers or fork by each side. And your Donuts recipe with yeast is ready to serve
