Many of you do not want to made this Crockpot Spaghetti so fatty. So, if you want to reduce the fat and calories then fully drain and rinse the grounded beef with hot water properly before adding to the pot.

Crockpot Spaghetti Recipe is basically based on its time, here we mention the maximum time which a crockpot or slow cooker takes but its all upon the cooker brand and its age. Old slow cooker takes more time as compared to latest slow cookers. So, to avoid this confusion we recommend you to cook it on high flame for 2-3 hrs.

Can I use Meatballs instead of ground beef?

Yes! If you want to try this recipe with different flavors or make it a more heavy meal then you can go with meat balls. Meatballs are the best option when it comes to crockpot spaghetti. I personally loves meatball in this recipe.

 

How to make Crockpot Spaghetti?

First, take a large skillet & add some olive oil in it. Now, put the ground beef, garlic paste, sliced onion , mushrooms and water in a crock pot. Over medium heat, stir them gently & cook for about 7-8 min & also drain off the extra fat.

Now, take a crockpot & add spaghetti sauce, you can use readymade crockpot spaghetti sauce but also you can make it on your own fresh by following the crockpot spaghetti sauce recipe below. After adding the sauce add some water in it and break the spaghetti noodles into half & put in the sauce so that noodles covers the sauce uniformly.

If sauce seems to be thicker, add 1/2 cup water to make it little liquid again.

Now add the ground beef to spaghetti noodle in crockpot & add grated cheese , cover the crockpot & leave on low flame for 5-6 hours or on high flame for 2-3 hours. Well we recommend to cook it on high flame because the slow cookers have different time for cooking and that is so confusing for you to calculate the time.

Now sprinkle Italian seasoning and mixed herbs if you want & time to serve the amazing and delicious crockpot spaghetti, so, garnish it with parsley and basil.

Crockpot Spaghetti Recipe | Crock Pot Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 25 ounces tomato sauce
  • 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 5 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 bell pepper (Green)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ½tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tbsp each fresh parsley and basil 

Instructions:

  • First, cook the onions, garlic and sausage or beef until no pink remains. Also drain out all fat.
  • Now, add all the remaining ingredients and cook it until it turns into a paste. Don’t over cook it or until you want the sauce texture.

Notes*- You can also add sausage in this sauce for extra flavors and we recommend you to use it because it really gives amazing taste. Use Parsley and Basil for garnishing also.

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground chicken
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped & sliced
  • tbsp garlic paste
  • ¼ tbsp salt
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce ( 24 ounces each jar)
  • 1 cup  water
  • 4 ounces dry spaghetti noodles
  • 1 cup  grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Take a large skillet & add some olive oil. Now put the ground beef, garlic paste,sliced onion , mushrooms and water in crockpot. Stir them gently & cook for 7-8 min & drain off the fat.
  • Take a crockpot & add spaghetti sauce & and water in it. Now break the spaghetti noodles into half & put in the sauce so that noodles covered by sauces uniformly. If sauce seems to be thick , add 1/2 cup water to make it little liquid.
  • Now add the ground beef to spaghetti noodle in crockpot & add grated cheese , cover the crockpot & leave on low flame for 5-6 hours or on high flame for 2-3 hours. Now sprinkle italian seasoning and mixed herbs if you want & serve.

Notes

If you want to make it in less time then cook it on high flame but we recommend to cook it on low flame.
