Ingredients

  • 200 gm egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup sliced cabbage
  • 1-2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup spring onion white part
  • 1/4 cup green capsicum
  • 50-70 gm shredded chicken
  • 1 tbsp green chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • salt & black pepper as needed

Directions

There are 2 ways for it, one is by boiling the chicken for approx 12- 15 min on medium- low flame & then shredding it into slices. Another way is marinating chicken pieces in salt and pepper, then cook in hot oil & let keep it aside.

Take a cooking bowl. Boil some water with salt in it. Then add noodles in water and cook for approx 2 min or 70% before boiling is done.

Now take some cooking oil in a wok. Then add garlic, onions, green chill is, white parts of spring onions. Fried them in wok for about 1-2 min. Also add rest of the veggies like carrots, cabbage & capsicum and stir uniformly.

Then add all above-mentioned sauces & boiled chicken in wok & mix all ingredients uniformly. Now add boiled noodles and sprinkle some salt and pepper as required. You can garnish the hakka noodles with spring onion green leaves. Then serve and enjoy the Homemade Chicken Hakka Noodles.

Notes

Chop the vegetables in tiny or small pieces to give the better taste and flavor. Soy Sauce can be increased or decreased according to your taste. Must sprinkle the oil to noodles to avoid them from sticking to each other
