Here is the best ever Turkey burger recipe with amazing toppings and delicious taste. We add very few ingredients to this turkey burger to give it the original flavors.

The Turkey Burger recipe is somewhat better then the hamburger recipe because of its strong flavors. I personally loves this Turkey burger recipe because I made this many times now. I always prefer to make it with all these ingredients mentioned below.

Ingredients for Turkey burger recipe:

Well to make this perfect turkey burger recipe, you just need these ingredients:

  • 1 ⅓ pounds or 450 gm lean ground Turkey
  • ½ yellow onion (medium)
  • 1 ½ Kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • cooking oil
  • Burger Buns
  • Cheese of your choice
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, thinly sliced onions and pickles (optional)
  • mustard and ketchup

How to make Turkey burger?

First take the ground turkey, finely grated onion, diced garlic, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt & ground black pepper into a bowl. Mix them properly until fully combined. Don’t over mix them.

Divide the turkey burger mixture into 4 equal portions, about 1/3 pound or (5.3 ounces) each. Lightly coat your hands in oil or cooking spray & form each portion into a 1-inch thick patty. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Put the baking sheet with the turkey burger patties to the freeze and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime, preheat the grill on medium-high direct heat grilling, about 450 degrees F or 220 degrees C. Now, after freezing the patties take them out and grill the turkey burgers for about 6 minutes both side. You can also cook them by avoiding grilling, its all upon you.

Prepare the burger buns, place a lettuce first as first layer and then patties over it. Now, spread mayonnaise and mustard as next layer, add onions, tomatoes and pickles (optional). And now place the top layer with cheese slice.

Can I cook the turkey burger patties?

Yes, you can definitely cook the the patties as it is all upon you that How you like it. But I prefer and like to grill them. But the flavors of this turkey burger on grill is best. 

To cook the patties, you must follow these instructions, After mixing the and diving the patties in to 4 parts, put a skillet or cooking pan on to low-medium flame. Now, sprinkle some salt on the patties and after adding some oil on the pan, put the patties on it.

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes or if you had digital thermometer then check the patties for 165 degrees. And now the patties looks brown and cooked well.

Notes

You can microwave the burger after it is ready to serve to melt the cheese slice and warm to warm it for 30 seconds. You can add the mayonnaise of your choice. Toppings are also be added or removed to give this burger your own taste.
